The Family Man Season 2

If you have not watched The Family Man Season 1, we recommend you watch it before watching the Family Man Season 2. However, here is a very brief synopsis of the first season of The Family Man. The story is that of Shrikant Tiwari who is a Senior Analyst in a highly secret organization that analyzes and defuses security threats to India. The fictional organization is called TASC, short for Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell. This organization is within the umbrella of the larger organization, termed as NIA, which stands for National Investigation Agency.

Srikant Tiwari is a normal ‘Family Man”, who lives with his wife and two kids. However, behind this facade, he works on the fringes of danger and death for the security of the country. The Family Man Season 1 pitted Srikant Tiwari and his team of operatives against terrorists in Kashmir. The trail ultimately leads to Delhi where a sinister plot to decimate Delhi is unearthed. Srikant Tiwari and his team succeed in saving Delhi, but not without collateral damage.

The Family Man Season 2 picks up where season 2 ended. Srikant Tiwari has quit the TASC in a bid to salvage a troubled marriage and has joined an IT company. He also faces the challenge of the whims of a teenage daughter and a precocious son.

This time the threat to the country is posed by the joint forces of an extremist organization, which operates on the lines of the LTTE and the dreaded ISI. As the trailer of Family Man Season 2 suggests, “Danger has a new face”.

Srikant joins his trusted lieutenant ‘JK”, in Chennai, and along with the help of the local Police and their own local operatives, they embark on a desperate cat and mouse chase. They need to stop a deadly woman for whom even death has no fear. The target is the Indian Prime Minister.
