  2. Fresh Methi Leaves (Fenugreek)

  1. Cumin Seeds
  2. Haldi (Turmeric Powder)
  3. Hing Powder ( Asafoetida)
  4. Red Chilly Powder
  5. Garam Masala
  6. Salt

Steps For Cooking Alu Methi Ki Sabzi

These are the steps to follow for making Alu Methi Ki Sabzi. The Alu Methi ki Sabzi recipe is easy to make and quick to cook.

  1. Clean and cut potatoes into small cubes and keep aside
  2. Clean and chop the Methi leaves and keep aside
  3. Heat a few spoons of cooking oil
  4. Add cummin seeds, haldi, and hing
  5. Add the potatoes and saute for a few minutes
  6. Add the Methi Leaves and saute for a few more minutes
  7. Add salt, cover and cook on slow or medium flame
  8. Once the potatoes and methi leaves are cooked, add chilly powder and Garam Masala
  9. Mix well and cook for a minute or two
  10. Serve with Phulkas or steamed rice
